Melanated Moms Meetup is a community-building and event planning company created specifically for African American mothers in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. The organization fosters meaningful connections among like-minded women who may not typically have opportunities to expand their social circles.

I was brought on to develop a complete branding kit that captures the spirit of Black womanhood, local pride, and beauty. The logo is rich with symbolism. The number 757, Hampton Roads’ area code, is represented by seven pearls on each side and five at the top, while three interwoven “M”s form a floral motif, symbolizing both unity and the diverse beauty of Black women. The project scope also included web design and packaging design for branded merchandise, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints.
